The Longmont Council for the Arts offers many services and programs for our visual artists from exhibition opportunities to funding.
Artist Registry
The Artist Registry promotes local artists in all cultural arts disciplines, including painters, sculptors, textile artists, metal artists and musicians. Since its inception in 1998, the Artist Registry has displayed artists’ works through rotating art exhibitions at area businesses. And it has only improved in popularity.
Here’s how it works: for a modest donation, area businesses ask the LCA to “decorate” their businesses on a quarterly basis. The result has been an exciting dynamic between the artists, community and businesses. For Artists, the Artist Registry has become an excellent venue for selling Art!
In 2012, artists must be a LCA Artist member in order to participate in any of our programs. Become a LCA Artist!
