Gallery & Artist Registry —

Nature and natural light are common themes in my photographs. I enjoy exploring the textures and patterns in nature and conveying what I see into a photographic image. I have images in my mind that I am still seeking to find in nature.

I started taking pictures in the summer of 1965. Some of my first images were of the mountains as I explored the Rocky Mountain National Park. In the 70s I started shooting black and white film as well as color and built my own darkroom to provide more control over the images that I produced. Today my computer is my darkroom whether I shoot in film or digitally.

Most of my images are of my home state Colorado. Mountains, trees, clouds water and other natural elements dominate my photographs. Recently I have been exploring digital infrared photography. I have enjoyed discovering how infrared light reflects differently than visible light. I hope that you enjoy my images. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact me.
