In 2008, the Longmont Council for the Arts (LCA) Board of Directors started an endowment by each contributing to the initial $1,000. The LCA wanted to create a fund that would ensure the future of the arts in Longmont. The LCA Endowment is administered by the Longmont Community Foundation, a subsidiary of the Denver Community Foundation, which boasts one of the best in the nation in investment performance.

Before the LCA can start to see the benefits of an endowment it first has to grow it to at least $10,000. Support the Longmont Council for the Arts Endowment Fund today and your contribution will support art and enhance culture in Longmont for future generations. The endowment will provide grants for public art, local artists and arts organizations that bring quality art to the community.
